Cultivating Earth's Growth, One Compost at a Time

Our production process will yield two distinct products. Upon placement in windrows, these products achieve carbon neutrality, as their transformation into compost is facilitated through a natural process that eschews the need for industrial intervention or energy generation inputs.

Product 1: Posidonia Seagrass Compost

Posidonia seagrass organic compost derives from the biological fermentation of sea plants (Posidonia oceanica) using dead leaves, washed up on tourist  beaches and selected products of agriculture (olive core, olive leaves, grape skin), without any chemical addition or process.

  • A natural organic fertiliser and soil improver

  • Peat free

  • Use of restorable sources of energy

  • Composition

  • 80% Sea plant (Posidonia oceanica)

  • Grape skin

  • Olive leaves & olive core

  • A natural organic fertiliser and soil improver that offers the following benefits:

    • Improved structure & texture

    • Increased moisture retention

    • Improved aeration

    • Increased nutrient value

    • Improved fertility in tired or un-worked soils

    • Loosens clay soils

    • Stimulates healthy root development

Product 2: Posidonia® organic plant soil

Posidonia® organic plant soil from seaweed (used mainly for Vegetables, Gardening and Floriculture)

  • Fine texture allows for easy mixing with soil, promoting better soil aeration and water retention.

  • Optimal bulk density facilitates handling and application, ensuring even distribution across the fields.

  • Balance of moisture and dry matter promotes microbial activity and nutrient release in the soil upon application.

  • Organic matter improves soil structure, enhances water retention capacity, and provides a slow-release source of nutrients for plant growth.

  • Balanced carbon-to-nitrogen ratio supports microbial decomposition of organic matter, ensuring a steady release of nutrients for plant uptake while preventing nitrogen immobilisation.

  • Neutral to slightly alkaline pH and low salt content make the compost suitable for a wide range of crops and soil types without posing risks of nutrient imbalances or toxicity.

  • The compost contains essential nutrients such as nitrogen (0.80-1%), phosphorus (P2O5: 0.32-0.50%), potassium (K2O: 0.90-1%), calcium (CaO: 28-33%), and magnesium (MgO: 2-3%) in adequate concentrations for plant growth and development.

  • The presence of micronutrients like copper (Cu), manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), and boron (B) in levels exceeding the minimum requirements ensures that the compost can provide a comprehensive range of nutrients essential for plant health and productivity.
